The critiques are designed to enhance you doll making skills and to help you create award winning dolls.
Here is how it works. Send me a picture of your doll. Keep in mind that the BEST critiques I can give are for dolls made with my patterns. I am not familiar with the patterns of other designers, and they all have a style all their own. For dolls made with others patterns I can only critique to the extent of being a judge. I can only tell you how to improve the overall look, and tell you what judges look for and count off for.
When it comes to critiquing my dolls made from my patterns, I can offer solutions to specific problems I see, I can offer offer suggestions on workmanship and presentation. I can offer face painting advice and costume improvement. I can tell you what judges look for, what will improve your overall scores in competition and challenges.
The fee for a critique is $5.00 and must be paid before you send the picture of the doll to be critiqued. If you want the critique posted to the site, I must have permission from you to do so. There you will get all the bells and whistles and see a visual of all the areas to improve or enhance. Critiques that are not posted on line will be in the form of an email sent to you privately.
